For Immediate Release: Wenatchee Downtown Association Announces Nominees for Downtown Favorite Awards Downtown Wenatchee—Wenatchee Downtown Association (WDA) has announced the nominees for its Downtown Favorite Awards. Winners in four categories will be announced at the WDA’s Annual Banquet at the Cellar Café on Thursday, May 14. Nominees for the Downtown Restaurant of the Year include: Caffe Mela, the Cellar Café Inna’s Cuisine, McGlinn’s, Smokeblossom and the Wok About Grill. Nominees for the Downtown Retail Business of the Year include: Arlberg Sports, Collins Fashions, Davis Furniture, Palmer Shoes, Pak-it-Rite, Performance Footwear, Pickle Papers, Mills Bros. and The Kitchen Sync Nominees for Downtown Professional Service Business of the Year include: Forte Architects, Hayes Cleaners, Howell at the Moon, Liberty Cinema, MJ Neal Architects North Cascades National Bank, Peoples Bank, and Refuel. Nominees for Downtown Volunteer of the Year include: Vern Chamberlain, Claudia Cockerham, Dianna Miller, Lorna Osborne, Darren Reynolds, Stephanie Sanford and Mary Woods. “Each of these nominees has contributed in some way to enriching the downtown experience,” said WDA executive director Sarah Dempsey. “I’m proud to represent and work with each and everyone one of them.” Nominees are members of the Wenatchee Downtown Association and are voted for by their peers. The mission of the Wenatchee Downtown Association is to promote and enrich the downtown experience. ### |
