downtown-forum-logo.jpgJoin the Wenatchee Downtown Association for Downtown Forum:

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

at the

Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center

The City of Wenatchee will present updates to projects that affect downtown Wenatchee.  This is your chance to ask questions & make comment.

Topics will include:

  • Stanley Civic Center Expansion
  • Comprehensive Street Improvements
  • Business & Parking Expansion
  • Housing
  • Waterfront Development
  • WDA Parking Sub-committee

This is the second annual Downtown Forum hosted by the WDA. The first took place in January of 2009.  At that time the City of Wenatchee had asked the WDA board for input on their priorities for projects taking place in downtown Wenatchee. The WDA created the Forum as a way of gathering ideas and comments from their membership and the public.

At that forum, the group had chosen Business & Parking Expansion and Stanley Civic Center Expansion as their top two priorities, with improvements to the WV Museum and Street/Sidewalk improvements tied for third.

This year's forum will showcase what progress has been made on these and other projects.
