"The Spirit of the Land: Art and Testimony" is a collection of large, vivid paintings by Quincy artist Ana Candioti, a native of Argentina. It opens at WVMCC on April 25, with an artist reception on Friday, May 9 (free!) from 5 to 8 p.m. Candioti's "social realism" depictions of indigenous peoples of North, Central and South America and Africa have won international awards.
