WALK A MILE IN MY SHOESA fundraiser for Haven of Hopea local homeless shelter for women and children

WHEN:                 Saturday, September 11th 2010

                Check-in from 8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.

START: Memorial Park in Wenatchee (corner of Orondo & Chelan)

FINISH: Breakfast at First United Methodist Church (corner of Washington & Miller)

WHY: All proceeds will go towards eliminating the existing mortgage of Haven of Hope and creating another emergency family housing shelter.

v      Walk will be approximately one mile in length.

v      Breakfast and prize drawing  following the walk.

v      Children must be accompanied by an adult.

v      Earn prize drawing tickets by raising pledges.  Pledge forms available at Haven of Hope, Journey Travel, and Top Foods.

v      Prize drawing tickets will be available for purchase at event.
