The Wenatchee chapter of Washington Native Plant Society invites the public to a free slide show and talk by plant ecologist Wendy Gibble on the Rare Plant Care and Conservation Program, this Thursday evening at WVMCC. Hear how the 320 sensitive, threatened or endangered plants in Washington will be affected by changing precipitation patterns and warming temperatures - and learn ways to be participants in rare plant conservation.
