Get Organized, And Get Ready For Baby (5:30PM - 6:30PM)
Instructor: Nicole Schmauder
Cost: Free
Duration: 1 hour.
The same class is offered on two different evenings:
Thursday, July 10, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 24, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
When it comes to having a baby, you’ve got to learn about delivery and feeding the baby, whether it be breastfeeding, bottle, or both. Thankfully there are birthing classes and feeding classes taught by professionals to prepare you for the journey. However, what most moms realize that they’re missing is the one key - organization, - on how to bring it all together. I’ve been there as a new mom, and I was overwhelmed by everything. However, I love to organize, so I joyfully created the organized spaces and systems that supported my pregnancy and birth. I’d like to share my experiences, tips, and techniques with expecting moms so that preparing for and having your baby is a smooth and sweet time in your family’s life.
Nicole Schmauder, MBA, is the owner of NEATNIK a professional organizing company that helps people organize their lives so that they can reach their personal dreams and professional goals. She has been married to John for 7 years and has two children Juliette (2) and Kyle (due 10/4/08).

Pipes! Camera! Action! Silent Movies With Brad Miller On Pipe Organ (2:00PM - 4:00PM)
Sunday, July 20, 2-4 p.m.
Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center, 127 S. Mission
"Pipes, Camera, Action!" Silent movies with Brad Miller on pipe organ
Veteran pipe organist Brad Miller will return for an afternoon of silent films, popcorn and organ music. Before moving to Spokane, Miller played the historic Liberty Theater Pipe Organ for many events at the museum.
The afternoon will begin with two short silent comedies, one featuring Charlie Chaplin and the other starring Laurel & Hardy. The main feature will be the 1925 classic, "Phantom of the Opera," starring Lon Chaney. It is the story of a disfigured composer living beneath the Paris Opera House who seeks love with a lovely young singer. Miller will accompany the onscreen action on the 1919 Wurlitzer and will give a brief demonstration of the organ’s capabilities.
Admission to "Pipes, Camera, Action!" is $12 for adults and $8 for children and museum members. Tickets may be reserved by calling 888-6240.
